Flow Sweepers

The flow is the basis of space civilization. All races and cultures use the flow to travel from system to system. However, the flow currents are unstable and do not last forever. This has been deadly for many spacefaring civilizations, who found themselves isolated after the vanishing of a flow current. Nowadays, thanks to the collaboration between many of the members of the Unity Circle, the duration and appearance of flow currents can be calculated and predicted. This has opened an era of interconnectedness. Sometimes used for good, sometimes bringing something bad….

Some months before a flow current disappears it is in quarantine. During that time, no Unity Circle vessels –military, scientific, or merchant– are allowed to travel through that flow. These flows are deemed too unstable. However, this doesn’t stop pirates, rogues or rebels from using these flow currents without any interference from Unity Circle forces. Besides them, dying flow currents also host Flow Sweepers, spaceships with a license to search the flow for lost cargo, stray spaceships or strange materials.  

Flow Sweeping is a dangerous job made only for desperados, adrenaline-seekers and those with a mysterious motive. Which one will you be?
